CERTIFICATION

Certification Renewal Eligibility

To be eligible for CRN-BC™ certification renewal, the registered nurse (RN) must meet the following requirements:

​Current CRN-BC™ certification

​

  • Current and unencumbered RN License or country equivalent

  • Minimum of 4000 practice hours in the clinical research nurse
    role (not including hours in residency or orientation) in the
    previous 3 years of time of application​

  • Meet either option 1, option 2 or option 3 for continuing education (CE) and professional activity (PA) requirements.
