Clinical Research Nurse Emeritus Application
It is the responsibility of the individual CRN to notify the Clinical Research Nurse Certification Council (CRNCC) of changes to their name and/or address. CRNCC is not responsible for notices that fail to reach the Clinical Research Nurse (CRN).

Application for Emeritus Status: I attest that I have an active CRN-BC™ certification at the time of this request and wish to apply for the honorary certification, CRN-BC™ Emeritus, a designation for clinical research nurses (CRNs) retiring from the profession.

​I attest to my understanding of the CRN-BC™ Emeritus requirements, including my responsibilities should I choose to return to clinical research employment and acknowledge that I am aware of the steps required to reactivate my CRN-BC™ credential.

My submission affirms that all information submitted for the purpose of applying for Emeritus designation is accurate and complete. It is my understanding that the finding of this application is based solely on information I submit and will be denied for any of the following reasons:

Falsification of application; Misrepresentation; Failure to meet criteria for contact hours/points per policy; Failure to provide requested information/documentation requested during audit; Failure to meet experiential requirement; Lack of current unencumbered RN license; Failure to submit appropriate fees; Failure to apply by deadline.
All fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
